THEIR GOAL

To be the Preferred IT Partner for SMEs

A-Speed have invested heavily in data centre projects in recent years. This includes colocation space, data centre build, IT management, ICT operations, as well as maintenance. Its main customers are major tech giants whilst serving over 1000 SME customers. It also provides major IT services to data centre and telco businesses and has strong presence in the education sector.

As more businesses move towards digitalisation, A-Speed saw an opportunity to add more value by strengthening their capabilities and delivering better service experience for new and existing customers. It wants to become the preferred partner for SMEs when it comes to serving their IT needs.

THEIR CHALLENGE

Expanding Network and Services to meet Dynamic Needs

It is challenging for service providers to expand their network and add new services to meet dynamic digital commercial needs. Furthermore, doing so without incurring high costs or managing multiple vendor relationships.

A-Speed needed to build a digital infrastructure with the ability to offer more network services to its customers. The service provider understands the risk of losing out to larger competitors with more service offerings. However, largely investing in its own network infrastructure would come with its own set of risks too.

A-Speed wanted to keep up with changing customer demands and evolve its business to enable transformation on a larger scale. It needed a comprehensive partner and long-term solution that could transform its business to stay competitive in a fast-moving market.

THEIR SOLUTION

Colocation with Interconnection Services

Partnering with Epsilon enables A-Speed to leverage Epsilon’s physical and network infrastructure. It uses Epsilon Colocation in Singapore, New Tech Park, as a start to deploy IT services with SLA-backed security and support services including remote hands and disaster recovery solutions.

A-Speed was able to quickly deploy and expand their services using Epsilon Colocation. As a foundation for its services, the colocation facility offers maximum uptime and high level of security for A-Speed's critical data and applications. This enables A-Speed to support their Asia-Pacific (APAC) customers in accelerating their hybrid cloud strategies.

A-Speed have the choice the expand its infrastructure by deploying network services via Epsilon’s NaaS platform Infiny. This will enable the service provider to seamlessly access peering at internet exchanges and major cloud services. These on-ramps include Amazon Web Services (AWS), Alibaba Cloud, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud.

Epsilon’s solutions have provided A-Speed with optimum performance in terms of colocation and choice of connectivity. With fast response times and end-to-end customer support, A-Speed has a partner dedicated to its success. Epsilon continues to back A-Speed with its expertise from pre-sales to identifying customer requirements, onboarding, provisioning of services and after sales support.

Reliable and cost-efficient colocation infrastructure, combined with high performance connectivity options, contributes to the performance and cost-efficiency of A-Speed’s business operations.

A-Speed’s ICT business has seen huge growth of 200% throughout the first half of 2020 due to higher demands from remote working. It is expecting another wave of explosive growth over the next 2-3 years as larger number of users and businesses are going online and using more cloud services. This is a huge opportunity for A-Speed and Epsilon to grow together by serving a growing number of enterprise demands and add value to the end users.

With a variety of network services readily available on Infiny, A-Speed can provision network services as and when they are needed. The service provider can meet the growing demands for direct cloud connectivity to remain competitive in the market.
