Epsilon Grows Its Middle East Presence with a Dedicated In-Market Sales Team
The company has opened a commercial office in Dubai to meet growing demand for Intelligent Network-as-a-Service and local access solutions
Epsilon, a privately owned global communications service provider, has established a dedicated in-market commercial team based in Dubai focused on creating bespoke solutions for local service providers. Growing demand for IPX-based services and outsourced local access networks has made it necessary for Epsilon to further develop its presence in the Middle East. Clint Collins, Regional Director, Carrier Business MEA, will lead Epsilon’s local efforts in the region.

In August 2013, Epsilon established a PoP in Etisalat’s SmartHub facility. The PoP in Fujairah gives it greater regional presence to support Epsilon’s interconnection services (Global Network Exchange), local access solutions (Enterprise Connect), capacity trading platform (eCX) as well as its intelligent network-as-a-service offering to power global IPX solutions.
Already over ϭ5% of Epsilon’s revenue comes from its operations in the Middle East with local operators choosing to outsource their global and region connectivity to Epsilon. The development of a dedicated in-market sales team in the Middle East follows on from a successful 2013 that saw Epsilon win a Global Telecoms Business Innovation Award for delivering its local access solution for Iraqi operator FastIraq.
