Colocation Sales Manager (UK)

Overall Purpose of Job
As the Colocation Sales Manager, you will be responsible for working with and developing key accounts across the European market to grow revenue along with Epsilon’s key strategic priorities.
As an owner of the UK Colocation market, you will participate in and be expected to contribute to strategic discussions and business forecasting to develop a market-specific approach and execute accordingly. In addition to developing sales initiatives and business pipelines and managing complex sales cycles, you will be responsible for identifying new sources of business through channels, partners and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be responsible and accountable for driving sales of new logo colocation business actively prospecting, generating leads and developing the colo partner channel
  • Liaise and coordinate with the sales engineers to design customer solutions as necessary
  • Ensure product specifications meet requirements for colocation markets including:
    1. Product characteristics 
    2. Product pricing 
    3. Ensure that product collateral (service description/price sheets) correspond to market requirements 
    4. Co-ordinate inputs with Product Management, Engineering and Sales 
  • In close collaboration with Sales, Marketing and Product Management, develop a target list, go-to-market and market awareness program to promote sales of the colocation space with the precise objective of filling out the colocation space before the end of 2020.
  • Ensure that the below-listed services and comparative advantages are presented and highlighted to all prospective Direct Customers, Channel Partners and Sales Agents:
    1. Value-proposition vs competition 
    2. Price positioning vs competition 
    3. Bundling options (with Epsilon connectivity services)  
    4. Propose target Customers or Customer segments  
  • Ensure timely, detailed and accurate forecasts in Salesforce presenting 30/60/90 and quarterly views 

Job Requirements
This entry-level position requires an ambitious self-starter and someone that can effectively process inbound inquiries and identify qualified leads and opportunities. Relationship selling skills, with the ability to manage sales calls at varying levels of customer accounts, are essential.
  • Preferably 2 – 3 years of successful experience in telemarketing, business development or sales; Telco or Technology industry will be an added advantage
  • BA/BS degree or relevant experience
  • Genuinely interested in technology and applications
  • Experience in using core sales tools: Salesforce, LinkedIn, Office 365
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skill and positive and energetic, interesting and engaging phone presence
  • The capability of understanding customer pain points, requirements and correlating potential business
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting
  • Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic
  • High level of integrity and a strong commitment to building a successful company
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to have coherent conversations with technical buyers, countering objections, knowing products and spotting opportunities.
