Inside Sales Representative


Overall Purpose of Job
The Epsilon Inside sales representative plays a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious revenue and profit growth objectives, working closely with existing customers and finding new prospects. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

Working closely with the Europe Regional Sales Director, Solution Architects and Sales Support, you will be responsible for identifying and closing opportunities for innovative next-generation connectivity services such as SDN, SD-WAN, Cloud Connect and IX connectivity. The candidate will be driving new business pipelines to existing customer and meeting Epsilon’s revenue and market share targets.

Candidate must be passionate in achieving success for Epsilon and its customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working with your pre-assigned account base to handle inbound sales leads, qualifying them and where appropriate creating client proposals and quotations.
  • Maintain regular phone contact with existing account base to minimise customer churn and uncover new sales opportunities.
  • Develop your existing account base by researching and expanding contact in new areas to ensure sales opportunities for new services and products.
  • Carry out prospecting work to uncover new prospects and generate new business.
  • Close sales and achieve monthly profit quota.
  • Ensure CRM and other Epsilon systems are kept up to date, keeping contacts up to date and assessing opportunities via probability in the CRM.
  • Route qualified significant sales opportunities to your assigned Strategic Sales Manager for further development and closure, working closely together.

  • Developing and maintaining a healthy business funnel
  • Being aligned with the company strategic direction and sharing this with your account base
  • Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements;
  • Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets;
  • Working with sales engineering to formulate customer designs and ensuring best solution proposed which matches the customer expectation.
  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales;
  • Representing their company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations

Job Requirements
  • At least 2 years in a similar role within a Managed Services Provider or Telecom provider
  • Has a high level of integrity, a drive to excel and the ability to motivate those around them.
