Overall Purpose of Job
As the Human Resources Manager, you will manage full HR functions including recruitment, payroll, compensation & benefits, employee relations and compliance & safety. Particularly to provide full support to the Directors/Managers in the management of employee relations matters and provide day-to-day HR support.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all recruitment activities which include manpower planning, job advertising, selection and interview of candidates, salary negotiations and on-boarding process.
  • Conduct periodic performance management exercise, compensation structure review, salary review and performance bonus exercise.
  • Recommend employee benefit programs/enhancements by conducting market studies and communicate to staff on such benefit changes through sharing sessions.
  • Engage line managers to develop and implement training and development plan for the organization based on identified training needs.
  • Provide guidance and advice to line managers on managing their staffs’ performance and career development.
  • Resolve employee conflicts and grievances by providing consultative advice and assistance to all employees.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resources regulatory requirements.
  • Update human resource policies and processes to ensure compliance with local labour law and that it is aligned with Company’s people-centric culture.
  • Measure employee engagement/satisfaction, identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive a positive work culture.
  • Propose and manage human resources and staff-related budgets.
  • Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
  • Appointed as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) for UK on all GDPR matters
  • Undertaking ad-hoc projects

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree qualified, preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration with major in Human Resources.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in human resources, with 5 years’ experience in full spectrum of human resources or generalist role. Some global HR experience will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, practices and up to date local employment legislation
  • Team orientated with excellent interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of staff.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Be very hands on and possess a can do attitude
  • Able to work independently on assigned projects
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
