HR Manager (BG)


Overall Purpose of Job
As the Human Resources cum Office Manager, you will manage full HR functions including payroll, compensation & benefits, employee relations, talent acquisition and compliance & safety. Particularly to provide full support to the Directors/Managers in the management of employee relations matters and provide day-to-day HR support.   

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full payroll activities which include compiling of payroll data from a wide variety of sources, accurate payment/submission of statutory obligations, payroll reconciliation report based on accounting schedule
  • Working closely with Global Talent Acquisition to support recruitment activities which include manpower planning, job advertising, selection and interview of candidates, salary negotiations and on-boarding process.
  • Drive the implementation of talent management strategies which includes the identification, review and assessment cycles for the talent to better retain employee
  • Conduct periodic performance management exercise, compensation structure review, salary review and performance bonus exercise.
  • Provide guidance and advice to line managers on managing their staffs’ performance and career development.
  • Resolve employee conflicts and grievances by providing consultative advice and assistance to all employees.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resources regulatory requirements.
  • Update human resource policies and processes to ensure compliance with local labour law and that it is aligned with the Company’s people-centric culture.
  • Propose and manage human resources and staff-related budgets.
  • Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system, keeping past and current records.
  • Provide translation from English to the Bulgarian language on all required documents.
  • Managing administrative work in the office and all office-related services.
  • Undertaking ad-hoc projects

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree qualified, preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration with a major in Human Resources.
  • At least 8 years’ experience in human resources, with 5 years’ experience in the full spectrum of human resources or generalist role. Some global HR experience will be an added advantage.
  • Fluency in Bulgarian and English language
  • Knowledge of HR & Payroll policies, practices and up to date local employment legislation
  • Team orientated with excellent interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of staff.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Be very hands-on and possess a can-do attitude
  • Able to work independently on assigned projects
  • Attention to detailed, extremely sensitive to numbers
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
