CloudLX 3.0 Deeper Visbility into Cloud Connectivity
Our latest release of CloudLX takes visibility and performance monitoring of cloud connectivity to new levels.
Throughout the development of CloudLX our goal has always been to accelerate and simplify access to cloud service providers. With CloudLX 3.0, we’ve expanded its graphing capabilities to make monitoring and troubleshooting even easier.
Cloud demands connectivity that is consistent, reliable and goes far beyond ‘best effort’. That is why we developed interactive graphing to enable users to see exactly how their cloud connectivity is performing over time and give them actionable insights into their network. The new interactive graphs accelerate decision making and ensure that network data is easy to consume and shareable.
We are removing the limits of visibility into Cloud connectivity to give users the ability to deliver Cloud-based applications and services with maximum performance.
The interactive graphs in CloudLX 3.0 allow users to turn data sets on and off, zoom in on a selected time period and download a copy of the graph in a variety of formats. Accessing and manipulating network data is as easy as mouse clicks and dragging and dropping.
Data is sampled every five minutes and available for the last 24 hours. The timeframes can be zoomed into down to half hour blocks for better focus and easier selection. Different statistics and metrics can be shown or hidden with the interactive graphs with ‘show all’ options. Graphs can be printed or saved in a variety of formats, including JPG, PNG, PDF, SVG so that performance can be shared across the organisation.
The new graphs, used for both Port and Service statistics, are includes the following statistics and metrics:
SLA Graph Per Service:
- Near End Frame loss (%)
- Far End Frame loss (%)
- Jitter (us)
- Two-way Latency (ms)
- Unavailable (sec)
Bandwidth Utilisation Per Service:
- Conform Ingress (Mb/s)
- Discards (Mb/s)
- Total Received (Mb/s)
Users gain new visibility into critical performance data across Epsilon’s network from their port through to the cross-connect to the Cloud service provider. If the user experiences any kind of Quality of Service or Experience issues, they can rapidly recognise the issue and react.
Capturing performance data and making it accessible simplifies cloud connectivity and ensures the success of our users’ cloud deployments.
