Epsilon is looking for a driven business developer with an already established personal network within the CSP, SI, MSP and ASP environments. You must be an adaptable open minded learner who takes a collaborative approach to business, keeping the big picture in mind when making decision.
The Business Manager role is demanding and the expectations of the successful candidate are high. Therefore we expect you to have at least 8-12 years’ experience in Telecom/SI/Channels, specifically in sales and business development. You should have experience of driving international virtual teams, be customer oriented, be well spoken and have good presentation skills as well as solid sales insight and knowledge. We want you to be able to demonstrate the ability to think creatively and a flexible and adaptable approach that allow you to balance customer needs with Epsilon’s guidelines, culture and philosophy.
As the role demands you to be present in the field you should be willing to travel, up to 35%, across the Europe region.
YOUR ROLE AT EPSILON
As ‘Business Development Manager, Cloud and Applications Markets Europe’, you will be responsible for driving Epsilon’s entrance in to the Cloud, Applications (System Integrations and Managed Service Providers) markets within the Europe region. With these being novel markets for the Epsilon group, the scope and key focus of the role is primarily business development and customers and partners acquisition activities, hence a hunter approach and mind-set is imperative.
Working closely with the Global Head of Cloud and Applications Markets you will be responsible for identifying opportunities to develop Epsilon’s cloud connectivity service offering (CloudLX) and the full services portfolio in your assigned region, driving this initiative to accelerate market adoption and meet Epsilon’s ambitious revenue and market share targets. As an owner of the Europe market you will participate and be expected to contribute in strategic discussions and business forecasting to develop a market specific approach and execute accordingly. In addition to developing sales initiatives and business pipelines and managing complex sales cycles you will be responsible for identifying new sources of business through channels, partners and customers and assess their viability.
