Epsilon Connect is the largest Global ‘Meet-Me-Room’ for Voice and Data Connectivity, linking the major regional Telecom Hubs around the World. Epsilon’s reach extends to almost 50 Global Telehouses, enabling access to approximately 1000 Operators and Service Providers, 250 of which are already pre-connected to the network. Once pre-connected, customers can enjoy the benefits provided by the largest global ‘Meet-Me-Room’ of Epsilon TDM Connect, with adds, moves and changes managed “on the fly”.
Epsilon TDM Connect is a dedicated Voice connectivity platform with more than 200 connected Carriers utilising a total of around 12,000 x 2 Mb/s of capacity; distributing over 30 billion minutes of voice traffic per year.
Once a Carrier is connected, the platform offers Intra-building and Inter-building connectivity for TDM switching systems. This platform is based on Core Optical Multiservice Transport Nodes which connect multiple operators and locations across the entire network and are accessible all through a single port.
Epsilon Connect links all enabled buildings (Epsilon Points of Presence) together via one unified platform, allowing pre-connected Carriers service activation times to be as short as 2-5 working days. Additional advantages are the 3 months contract terms, mitigation of commercial risk of unprofitable interconnections, the removal of physical interventions required on site for cabling and the ability to access more than 200 pre-connected Voice operators seamlessly in around 50 Telehouses seamlessly.
SERVICE DESCRIPTION
The TDM Epsilon Connect Service is scalable in 2Mb increments and has a simple pricing structure for Intra-building and for Inter-building connectivity services. To connect to the platform there is a number of SDH ports, up to STM-64 level, for which only a setup fee will be applied. There are no monthly charges until connectivity services are ordered and only the ordering party will be charged the applicable monthly fees.
Carriers may also use the interconnect within the Epsilon Connect platform to access services such as Epsilon VoIP Connect, Epsilon Voice Connect, Epsilon Data Connect and Epsilon Enterprise Connect. Furthermore it can be used for multiplexing services without the need of deploying your own transmission equipment, avoiding the associated cost of housing and maintenance.
